CMU INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL: Design and Film Coordination
The Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival is an annual three-week long event that is executed by a team of less than 20 members. Every year, a new selection of films is hand-picked by the professor and a small student committee. Students are responsible for all aspects of a screening, including finding sponsorships, coordinating a reception, and garnering interest for the film from the campus and the Pittsburgh community.
As a designer, I created the festival catalog, posters, and advertisements. As the one of the coordinators for the screening of At Berkeley, a 4-hour documentary about the university, I was able to draw in over 50 attendees, who may or may not have stayed for the entirety of the film.
